Your C.E.O. Self-Concept

To grow your business, you must grow the woman running it.

To lead, you must first become the woman who leads themselves first.

To experience less struggle and more joy doing it all, you must become the woman who believes she can.

When was the last time you spent time deciding who you want to become?

Becoming is a building block to your self-concept, and for high performers, that's your C.E.O. Self-Concept.

The C.E.O. Self-Concept is built from your current beliefs about yourself and from who you believe you can become.

Who am I as the C.E.O. of me?

Believing in yourself is the most important gift you can give yourself. How much you believe in yourself shows up in the results you create.

Belief can feel elusive or something we are striving for, but it's already inside of us.

Building belief starts with getting clear on where you are today, where you want to be and whom you become when you get there.

Knowing brings accountability to you and your future.

Belief in yourself is not built by an outside source, recognition, or compliments. Belief is an inside job.

Your C.E.O. Self-Concept starts with a vision of whom you want to be with a detailed execution plan on how you want to fulfill your vision. The plan helps you build deeper belief. With deeper belief, more momentum, and stronger results.

A marathon runner becomes a marathon runner before they’ve completed the 26.2 miles. Once they have decided to run the marathon, they create a training plan, benchmark their progress plan and they imagine ahead of time how good it feels to cross the finish line.

Think of your C.E.O. Self-Concept like writing your job description. Not the one you are doing today, but the one you want to be doing as the next best version of you in your role or as the leader of your business.

  • What is clear now?

  • What are you doing?

  • What’s different?

  • How do you feel?

  • How do others describe you and your business?

  • What are you creating?

  • What do you LOVE about where you are?

  • What got you here?

  • What are you accomplishing?

  • How is what you are doing today better because of what you already built?

  • Where are you adding incremental value?

  • How is this creating more impact?

  • What is the legacy you’re creating?

Putting it on paper will give you a plan of action, accountability to you and your future, and along the way a deeper belief.

Here's to believing in who you are and what's possible.

As I say, you are the biggest influencer in your life, and when you recognize your influence over you, it's a game changer.

Here's to changing the game.
