High Achievers Don’t Start Over - They Begin Again, Stronger

🎧🎧 Listen to Sunday Sunshine HERE 🎧🎧

Like an ocean wave, it comes ashore again and again.
It begins again.

You can begin again each and every day.

Begin again—
without shame.
without blame.
without the baggage of yesterday.

Every day offers a new beginning.
A new 24 hours.
A fresh page.

A new day to make a mark.
A new energy that lights you up—and becomes contagious.

Most failures and disappointments aren’t surprises.
They’re ignored signals.

Today is a fresh day to listen.
To evaluate what’s happening.
To audit what’s working, what’s not working,
and what you want to do differently as you begin again.

Turn the page.
Claim today.
Create the best week possible.

Decide today and reverse engineer it. Your positive possible future is created from that future with intention.

A Reminder on Giving & Receiving

Here’s something life keeps teaching me—over and over again:

Giving feels better than receiving.

And that giving energy?
It matters.

It’s the energy that moves through the universe and comes back amplified.
It’s the frequency that creates connection, momentum, and meaning.

I was reminded of this deeply while attending the KNOW Winners Circle Conference, where I had the honor of leading the closing ceremony. I facilitated an activation I call The Angels Exercise.

It’s intimate.
It’s vulnerable.
And honestly—it’s powerful.

Because don’t we all need an angel in our lives?

As I watched a group of women step into the role of “angel”—offering kind words, affirmations, and truths to another—I could feel the shift in the room. And then, moments later, those same women stood on the receiving side.

We had already shared three meaningful days together.
But this took us deeper.
It connected us to what truly matters.

I noticed the external shifts first—
shoulders softening,
posture changing,
smiles emerging.

And then the internal ones.

I noticed what it felt like to hear something meaningful spoken directly to me.
And I noticed what it felt like to give someone else a message they may never forget.

That’s the magic.

A celebratory moment after the exercise! Feel the magic.

This Week’s Invitation

Give a little more of yourself this week.

Not by adding more to your already full schedule.
But by becoming the kind of person who grows every time they give of themselves.

Really stop to be present with someone. Offer them what you wished someone had offered you when you needed it. Not just a 'great job,' but detailed insight into what they did, how they did it and how it landed with you. Even offer them what's possible for them when they do more of it. Help them forecast their future!

Since leaving corporate life, I've committed to building a strong community of women who both support me and whom I can support. This reciprocity has transformed not just my business prospects but my personal growth.

Begin again—
with generosity.
with presence.
with intention.

Because when you give, you don’t lose anything.

You expand.

And that expansion?
That’s where everything meaningful begins again.

Journal Prompts for the Week Ahead

  • If today were a clean slate, what would I choose to do differently—and why does that matter?

  • What whispers have I been ignoring lately (in my body, my work, or my relationships), and what might they be trying to teach me?

  • Where am I holding onto yesterday—shame, blame, expectation, or regret—that I’m ready to release so I can begin again?

  • When was the last time giving felt better than receiving for me?

  • Who could use a little more of my presence, kindness, or encouragement this week—and what would it look like to offer it freely?
