“I expand in abundance, success, and love every day, as I inspire those around me to do the same.”
Feeling inspired fuels my soul.
If you are like me, you crave it. Inspiration is lifts me, energizes me, and often brings me back to life.
Have you ever paused to think about why?
The word inspire comes from the Latin inspirare, meaning “to breathe into.”
Originally, it referred to divine breath—a higher force breathing life, energy, or purpose into someone.
Isn’t that beautiful?
Inspiration breathes life into what matters most.
It’s the spark that becomes our fire.
When you know what inspires you, you know what you must think, feel, and take action on to breathe more inspiration into your life.
I invite you to take a heart-led inventory—the people, places, books, meals, workouts, moments, music, or conversations that stir something deep inside you. The things that light you up, that shift your energy, that make you breathe a little deeper or faster. This is a wonderful journal exercise to explore because what you focus on expands.
For me, I know I’m inspired when my heart skips a beat.
When an idea, possibility, or opportunity loops in my mind.
When I start asking “what if?” and the answers keep unfolding, layer by layer, until they become a calling I can no longer ignore. [I’m channeling inspiration into something meaningful—The Wednesday Whisper. If you want a weekly dose of inspiration texted to you, just reply with your cell number.]
That’s how inspiration works. It doesn't just nudge—it takes hold.
It moves you to action. It shifts your energy. It adds that unmistakable kick in your step that can shape your entire day—or your entire life.
And here’s the amazing part:
When you’re inspired, your energy is contagious. The byproduct of living an inspired life is that you will, inevitably, inspire others.
Here are a few people and ideas that are currently inspiring me…
Diary of A CEO podcast is an intimate dose of insight and inspiration. It’s hosted by Steven Barrlett who asks the most amazing questions. His recent episode with Simon Sinek: You’re Being Lied To About AI’s Real Purpose And We’re Teaching Our Kids To Not Be Human! is a must listen. Who are you listening to for inspiration?
I’m a huge fan of Mo Gawdat and I’ve listened to this episode, Retrain Your Brain to Beat Chronic Stress, PTSD, Anxiety and More three times and will continue to revisit to learn, grow and be inspired to lead my life with more impact. What are you watching to inspire you?
Martha Stewart told me in my 20s to go learn something new every day and teach it to someone else. That advice has become a personal mantra. I'm inspired to learn almost anything (technology excluded!), and I’m driven to share what I’ve learned with anyone who will listen. This year I’ve taken three courses and attended two coaching experiences to up my game and keep me inspired. What are you learning this year to inspire you?
I’m inspired by women who stand up and share their powerful voices. Who say 'hear me roar' while embracing their femininity, as they know it makes them, and others, better. The dynamic duo behind Unicorn, Denielle Finkelstein and Thyme Sullivan, are slaying taboos around feminine care products in every bathroom stall. They are role modeling what it means to be a powerful leader who has fun. Who are you inspired to role model?
This article, How to Achieve Your 10-Year Goals in 1-Year, is written by Dr. Benjamin Hardy. He has inspired much of my work with CEOs. 10x-ing is not driven by tactics, but by a mindset that allows you to dream about creating the impossible and then reverse-engineer for it. What are you inspired to achieve in 2025?
Anything Matt Cooke, manifestation coach, writes. He says manifestation works like a mirror. You don’t attract what you want. You attract who you are. Who are you being to attract what you want?
I’m inspired by the optimists who always see the glass as half full. Speed bumps are merely moments for them to double down and carry on. My husband is one of them. They leave success entitlement to others while creating their own success. Where can optimism fuel your inspiration?
These are just a few of my inspirations.
Reading them back, I’m so grateful for the inspiration that lights me up and gives me the energy for who I’m becoming.
Who are you becoming?
